About this piece: This piece was developed for the First Cumberland Presbyterian Church Website in Chattanooga, TN. It's focus is that of a Bible that was taken from the church during the Civil War.
Short History The Church Bible (Pictured to the left) was removed from the altar by members of the 31st Indiana Volunteers. Thier Chaplain, kept the bible and his son returned the Bible to the Church. Scribbled on one of the pages of the pulpit Bible was the message which is represented in the graphical piece above. For the complete story, the letter and history of the Bible, please visit the site.
This piece shows a photo of the letter in the background. The two flags (US and Confederate States) crossed in battle with the connon representing the "guns of war".

Custom Piece 4: Gaming Image

This piece (along with 734 other images) is for a video game tentatively scheduled for release late in 2009. We are limited on what details we can give out on the game or company making it unfortunately. However, we have been given permission to show this piece, which is on the entrance page for one of the chief characters called "Thor".
Specs given: We were given the following specs for this particular image: "Image 178. Name-Thor. We are looking for something strong for this character. Perhaps something made of metal. Thor is the 'God of Thunder' - a God of the North (Vikings for example). Cold environment/snow would make a good backdrop."
Note: In reference to the specs we were given, you need to know that each character has a "symbol" with which they will be identified with. In this case, we used the letter "T" made of shining chromed steel. We provided the "cold/snow" mentioned above with the snow covered mountains. Thor's mythological symbol is the hammer, so we included a nice image of one for the description image: "Norse God of Thunder".

This logo was designed for a zoo exibit and landscape fabrication firm - Natural Illusions. Unfortunetly, the owner of this firm has since retired. We wish his site was still up and running because it was really something special to see. It would have most certainly been one of the sites that we would have chosen to include and feature within our Web design portfolio.
Notes: What is special about this presentation, is that we actually have the hand written drawing (left) that the customer gave us to go by. In his own words: "Never could I have imagined that you guys would come up with such a wonderful logo from that chicken scratch of a drawing I gave you. I am absolutely blown away!"
Yep... another happy customer :-)
